The word “doula” comes from the ancient Greek meaning “a woman who serves,” and is now used to refer to a trained and experienced professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to the mother before, during, and just after birth.

As a person who’s love language is given by acts of service, becoming a birth doula was natural and a calling from God. He has blessed me abundantly as a practicing doula not only by sending me the best clients but by being able to serve in my hometown of San Antonio.
I believe that bringing new life into this world should be an empowering beautiful experience and it is my goal to help each client have a birth experience they can be proud of.
